Empowering People on Their Real Estate Ventures
I am a residential real estate agent in beautiful Victoria, BC, where I’ve lived all my life. I also work as a lawyer, practicing in real estate law, wills and estates and personal injury.
My path to real estate has been a little different. My dad, Gary Bazuik, has been a trusted realtor for over two decades, and when he invited me to join him, I hesitated at first. With degrees in both Social Work and Law, I had envisioned my career in advocacy, helping people navigate life’s challenges. But as I reflected, I realized real estate is also a helping profession—one where I could combine all my skills to guide people through some of the biggest transitions in their lives.
What makes my practice unique is the combination of social work principles and legal training I bring to the table. From my social work background, I’ve learned how to truly listen, to recognize bias, and to empower people to make decisions that feel right for them. From my legal background, I’ve gained a sharp eye for detail, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to craft and interpret contract clauses that protect my clients’ interests. This blend means my clients not only feel supported emotionally, but also confident that every detail of their transaction is handled with precision.
My approach is simple: I strive to be an authentic, trusted advisor. I listen carefully to what my clients want, educate them throughout the process, and ensure their journey is seamless, compliant, and secure. Whether helping seniors through downsizing, guiding couples through transitions, or advocating for first-time buyers, I bring a steady, knowledgeable presence to every step of the process.
I am committed to ongoing professional development, attending seminars and conferences, staying current with market trends, and continually sharpening my skills. I also maintain a strong network of professionals—inspectors, tradespeople, lawyers, and more—so my clients always have access to the best support.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me walking my dog along the beach, hiking in our incredible Pacific Northwest forests, baking, or enjoying time with my three children, family, and friends. I’m also passionate about reading, music, good food, and creative pursuits.
